CloseThe last year and a half has fundamentally changed many of our norms and behaviors. Crisis does that. We've all had to adjust quickly and regularly. Many of these adjustments have led to a drift in convictions, even from our core identities. The fact is, for most of us, crisis makes us pull in instead of reach out. And over the course of the last year and a half, many of us have become stuck in survival mode. We've stopped loving, welcoming, and serving one another. But what Peter tells followers of Jesus in a similar situation is that life is too short not to serve others.
