Philippians 3:17-20. Our spending shows that we live as though this earth is our home. But the truth is that we are citizens of heaven.

So often we can find ourselves investing in the temporal rather than the eternal. The way we treat our finances often reflects our faith. Jesus talked a lot about money. In fact, 15% of all he talked about was related to money. That's more than all he talked about hell and heaven combined. He did so because he was trying to show us that faith and finances are inseparable.
