God Hears Our Prayers
Psalm 116:1-14. “Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?” - Corrie ten Boom. We don’t really believe in the power of prayer. God hears our prayers and preserves us. God's people's prayers are powerful.

Psalms was the songbook of God’s people; it would be like a playlist now or a mixtape. It’s the reason so many of our worship songs today come from the Psalms. But these aren’t just good songs. These are rich theology, too! They lay out a bunch of essential truths or us. It's what drove Augustine to exclaim: "What is there that may not be learned in the Psalms."
