Gifted for One Another
Ephesians 4:7-16. Everything worth doing is better accomplished together. And the same is true for God’s purposes in this earth. It’s why he didn’t just have following Jesus be a one-time prayer asking Jesus into your heart and then living out a personal faith all by yourself. Instead he created a church, a body—not a single-cell organism—but a beautiful gathering of his diverse children, a gathering where every single person has a design, a purpose, and is necessary.

What is the church? Now more than ever followers of Jesus must be able to answer this question. 2020 exposed a lot in the American church. It revealed a dependency on, and a relegation of our faith to, a weekly Sunday service. But COVID and all its effects forced the church to refocus on its mission outside the church building instead of using its efforts to get people to the building.
