Jesus, the King

Jesus: Now in Flesh Appearing

For so many of us, Advent becomes a time of outward, manufactured identity. More often than not, we're concerned with outward appearances instead of inward realities. But at the center of what Advent was really meant to be is something much more. The reason the church has celebrated Advent for so long is to get past the outward and re-orient our lives around a better reality. The call of Advent is genuine, heartfelt repentance. Join us this morning as we continue our Advent series "Jesus, Now in Flesh Appearing," as we explore Jesus' kingship.

From Series: "Jesus: Now in Flesh Appearing "

Oftentimes, the joy of Christmas feels hollow to us because it's hard to believe that God would become human to save me and to save this world. I know me. I honestly don't often feel worth saving. We all feel this way at some time or another. But Jesus' genealogy shows us an incredible truth: You are worth it because he is worthy. Join us this morning as we kick off our Advent series "Jesus, Now in Flesh Appearing," as we explore Jesus' humanity.
